About the event
EACB is thrilled to offer a sensory friendly performance of Act II from The Nutcracker designed for children, families, and individuals with autisim or other sensory processing needs in mind.
What makes this performance sensory friendly?
Relaxed House Rules
-We encourage families to move around as space is available.Â
-Doors will remain open for exiting the theater as needed.
-House lights will remain at 20%
Performance Adaptations
-Music volume will be lowered
-No flashing lights
Adjusted Performance Time
-Performance will only include Act II of The Nutcracker which runs approximately 40 minutes.Â
The College of Education's Sensory Activation Vehicle will be on site for guests who wish to step out or take a break from the performance.
